LIST OF ASSIGNMENTS DUE THURSDAY 10/8

The following things will be due on Thursday:

1. Drawings from the microscope lab
2. Results of pH Lab plus a written explanation of what happened in each experiment.  Be sure to explain how the pH changed in each of the four combinations and suggest how a buffer works.
3. Flower Activivty -
1. What did you predict?
2. What did you observe?
3. Did your observations agree or disagree with your prediction?
4. Why does this work and what does it tell you about the structure of a flower?
4. Water Bottle Activity -
1. What did you observe?  Which dye colored which liquid?  Explain why this happened and be sure to use the following terms:  polar, non-polar, solute, solvent, density
5. Solvent/Solute Observation -
1. What observations did you make?
2. What two differences are there between solvent A and solvent B?  How/why does this affect the rate of the reaction?
